WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ryan Nelson, an attorney from Idaho Falls, has been nominated by President Trump to serve as a judge on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
His confirmation hearing will be live-streamed at 8 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time Wednesday at judiciary.senate.gov.
Sen. Mike Crapo will preside over the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Sen. James Risch will introduce Nelson to the panel.
If confirmed, Nelson will take the seat of Judge N. Randy Smith, who announced he will take senior status later in the year.
