It’s bad enough when your employer asks you to take things down a notch (or two) on social media.
But when your mother does it?
Now that’s serious.
Yet that’s what Flint native Kyle Kuzma is dealing with after “Kuz Momma” chimed in regarding his social media “feud” with fellow rookie and Los Angeles Lakers teammate Lonzo Ball.
In case you missed it — and apparently not many NBA fans did — Ball recently released a rap song called “Kylie Kuzma” where he pokes fun at the teammate he often spars playfully with on social media.
But Ball also took what some consider a cheap shot at Kuzma with a line about the biological father Kuzma says he has never met.
That led Karri Kuzma, Kyle’s mother, to add her two cents worth on Twitter. “Everyone’s had their fun,” she tweeted under the handle Kuz Momma. “Now get back to work.”
Everyone’s had their fun now get back to work.

The Lakers also want their two young stars to tone things down, according to a report by ESPN.com.
“Although Kuzma and Ball are close friends,” wrote ESPN.com’s Ramona Shelburne and Ohm Youngsmisuk, “the Lakers had grown concerned about the increasingly personal nature of some of the recent roasting between two of their young stars, sources told ESPN.
“Sources said the team spoke to both players and that there are no lingering issues, and that both players agreed to tone down the joking insults on social media. After dealing with a social media fiasco involving a D’Angelo Russell-Nick Young video in 2016, the Lakers wanted to make sure to nip things in the bud.”
But will the players listen?
Stay tuned to find out.
