(Mankato, MN) – Construction will begin on the Highway 169/Highway 14 crossover in Mankato on Monday, July 23rd.
During construction, the inside northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 169 will be closed, reducing both directions to single-lane traffic. The single-lane closures will span from West Lind Street to Lake Street Northwest.
Motorists will also encounter periodic ramp closures with detours.
Work at the crossover of Highway 169 and Highway 14 includes resurfacing the pavement. This project is part of the work being done in conjunction with the Mankato/North Mankato Levee project scheduled to start late August, which will raise the grade of Highway 169 to bring the levee up to current FEMA standards.
