Tazewell County Health Department, in collaboration with Bradley University’s Doctorate of Nursing Graduate Program, will host an educational immunization event to increase awareness of the importance of vaccines. Healthcare professionals will be available to share why vaccines are safe & important to your health, discuss required vaccines for school attendance, and immunize your child – from 2 months through 18 years.
The Educate to Vaccinate event will take place on July 19 from 1–4 p.m. at Tazewell County Health Department, 21306 IL Rt 9, Tremont.
“The best way to protect yourself and your family from vaccine-preventable diseases such as polio, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), measles is immunizations,” says Angie Phillips, Director of Clinical Services. “We invite you to attend and learn more about vaccinations to help you make the best decision for your family.”
