DICKINSON COUNTY – Two teenagers from Kingsford died Saturday when the vehicle they were in crossed the center line on M-95 and struck a car carrying a family of four, authorities said.
Killed in the crash were Taylor Bosley, 18, and Jolene Treml, 17, according to WLUC. Their vehicle was traveling north just before 11 a.m. Saturday when it crossed into the oncoming lane, striking the family’s southbound vehicle.
The teens died at the scene, the news station reported.
The family – identified as Steven Anderson, 46, Julie Anderson, 40, and their two children – were taken to UP Health System – Marquette for treatment of their injuries.
State police and local rescue units responded to the crash.
Speed and weather conditions were factors in the collision, authorities said.
