South Dakota woman dies after walking in front of a moving train



ALVORD, Iowa – Disturbing news in Alvord, Iowa tonight, Lyon county sheriffs reporting a woman was hit by a train this morning.

Upon investigation at the scene deputies identified 32-year-old savannah Flynn as the victim.

Evidence shows she may have been confused by the tracks and crossed over the wrong set of tracks as a train was approaching.

Flynn was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol is being considered a factor as to why she stepped in front a moving train.

The investigation is on-going.
